Steve Kozy University President

Our President, Steve Kozy, has worked as an IT Consultant for over 30 years. He also does Small Business consulting, where he advises firms on matters outside of IT. He graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance. Steve passed his Series 7 broker exam in 1987. Then the crash happened. He held on for two years, but then decided to re-open his little computer company.

The cornerstone of Software Knowledge University has been laid. Everyone is busy getting ready for our first courses in April 2020.

This institution of fine-learning is a division of The Software Knowledge Co, Inc, which Steve Kozy has owned since the early 80s. One of Steve’s favorite movies is The Godfather (although he doesn’t use that as a security answer.) He jokes he “made his bones” on a Radio Shack TRS-80. A lot of users had problems with that early PC. Many referred to it as the Trash-80.  Steve liked his, and actually did make a killing (profit-wise) with it on two special IT consultant projects. More of that story later.
